The development from the decorative Art Nouveau to the factual "form without ornament". Almost 2000 objects in a hitherto unique completeness: centrepieces, services, tureens, jugs, vases, bowls, candlesticks, clocks, lighting fixtures, a large number of table cutlery, etc. Among the designers are the most important Art Nouveau and Art Deco artists such as Henry van den Velde, Peter Behrens, Josef Hoffmann, Joseph Maria OLbrich, Albin Müller and Jean E. Puiforcat. The leading factories such as Christofle, Berndorf and the WMF are represented. 84 artists and companies are presented, mainly from France, Denmark and Germany.
