Viennese enamel miniature screen, Austria, c. 1900. Hand painted with panels after Francois Boucher, of courting couples wearing 18th Century costume, and sat in idyllic rural settings.
The panels mounted in hinged elaborate gilt metal rococo scroll frames.
Stamped ‘AUSTRIA’ to the reverse.
Width – 14.5 cm, 5 3/4”.
Height – 13 cm, 5 1/8”.
Condition – No damage. No restoration.
