Thai Wood and Leather Klong Khaek Processional Drum with Distressed Appearance

About the Item

A vintage Thai wood and leather Klong Khaek processional drum from the mid-20th century, with ropes and weathered patina. Created in Thailand during the midcentury period, this Klong Khaek drum was likely used in Thai ensembles for processions. The double-headed barrel drum was held vertically across the players' lap when played. Showcasing a dark brown structure, the drum is strapped with ropes. With its great rustic character and wonderful use, this vintage Thai wood and leather Klong Khaek processional drum from the mid 20th century will make for a great decorative addition to any home!
