A vintage Thai wood, leather and rope Klong Khaek processional drum from the mid 20th century, with ties and weathered patina. Created in Thailand during the midcentury period, this Klong Khaek drum was likely used in Thai ensembles for processions. The double-headed barrel drum was held vertically across the players' lap when played. Showcasing a brown structure, the drum is strapped with rope ties.
