The large and striking, solid brass rivots on top of the copper exterior of this stand are hand hammered into perfect Gothic window patterns. They make this unique antique look absolutely marvelous from further away as well. The perfect Gothic quatrefoil symbols too add to the beauty and deeper meaning of this rare, European antique. The wooden 'interior' (or base) of this great stand is as strong and stable as the day it was made and it is absolutely free of woodworm (and it always has been). We have been in this business for many decades now, but we have never seen another Gothic antique like this. Apart from a few missing rivots this architectural and ecclesiastical is complete and totally original.
