These early 1900s antiques are all handcrafted out of solid oak with some solid pine on the back and bottom. They are in very good condition and they are strong and heavy so that they can hold larger sculptures as well. That actually is what they were made for as you can also see from the two large, strong and thick metal, integrated hooks in their backs. They are ideal for displaying Saint statues or any other type of religious art but with stylish candle holders on top they will look marvelous also. The hand carved, church window like carvings all around could not be more Gothic in style and this unique Gothic pair also has a beautiful patina.
