Nicely presented and appealing scientific instrument, ideal for display Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good original order Enamelled metal body in striking black, with highly contrasting polished brass Mahogany carry box shows rich caramel hues and benefits from a working lock — key present Extendable eyepiece tube with a rack and pinion main focus guide Slide stage dressed with a pair of rotary clips and annotated with a grid scale Single objective mounted to the scope with a pair of accessory lenses within the box Bright mirror beneath the slide holder, mounted on a rotating arm Maker's mark in crisp white paint for J. Swift & Son, London The scope fits neatly within the carry case with segmented compartments for further accessories Matched J.
