Large terrestrial globe in papier maché and plaster, fixed in its wooden basket: the spindles are painted with the continents (decoratively), the complete meridian is in brass; the hour circle is decorated with the signs of the zodiac
As early as the Renaissance, libraries and other rooms dedicated to culture presented large globes representing the Earth as it was known at the time, as well as its counterpart, a celestial globe
Certain globes of this size could have been transformed into a bar
Traces of wear, lack of paper (north pole), wear and missing on the base (old restorations)
