Collection Of Vintage Cardboard Golf Ball Boxes. A very nice decorative collection of twelve cardboard golf ball boxes. The boxes would have originally been sold complete with a dozen, or half a dozen, of the relevant golf balls, but are now empty. The boxes are for Dunlop, Dunlop 65, Dunlop Blue Flash, Silver King HV, Bromford P.G.A., Penfold GBD, Penfold and Bromford, Maxim, North Berwick and Re-Covered golf balls. The balls would have been square mesh and dimple balls and are mainly from the rubber core golf ball era. One box has the image of the Penfold man in his oversized cap, another the Dunlop man who is a caddie with a golf ball head. With strong, vivid and colourful artwork on the lids these boxes are a wonderful addition to any golf collection. The size shown is for the ten normal sized boxes that hold a dozen golf balls. There are two smaller boxes that take six golf balls, 'North Berwick' 8½ cm high, 13 cm wide 4½ cm deep and 'Re-Covered' 9 cm high, 13½ cm wide, 4 cm deep.
