Vintage Army Metal Petrol Can
About the Item
An original WWII ex-military war department 2 gallon petrol can complete with original brass screw CAP. The gasoline can has been repainted at some stage, the top with the words 'Petroleum Spirit Highly Inflammable', and 'WD, 1940' with a broad arrow (crows foot) in-between the WD, indicating that it was Government Issue. The bottom is marked 'F.F. & S. Ltd, 140'.
