1920s Yellow Gold and Enamel Spark Striker

About the Item

An exceptional, fine and impressive antique continental 14-karat yellow gold and enamel spark striker; an addition to our boxes and cases collection. This exceptional antique 14-karat yellow gold spark striker/flint match has a plain rectangular rounded form. The anterior surface of this impressive antique case is embellished with an impressive white enamel panel displaying gold scrolling leaf and floral designs. The posterior surface of the case is ornamented with impressive engine turned decoration. This piece retains the original detachable 14-karat gold oval flint match accented with a plain ball style terminal. There is an integrated panel/match striker to one side and a ring loop attachment to the other. Condition This antique gold spark striker is an exceptional gauge of gold, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The enamel panel is in perfect condition. The hallmarks to the underside of the case are all very clear. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this antique gold piece.
