American Art Deco Chrome, Copper & Wood Floor Ashtray/Magazine Rack by Revere



This iconic American Art Deco chrome, copper and lacquered wood combination ashtray and magazine stand was designed by William Archibald Welden for Revere. A tubular chrome arch shaped handle rises from a black lacquered wood base with a chamfered fillet edge. Just below the hadle sits a brass ring holding a hemispherical brass ashtray/dish. On either side of the base there are arc shaped embossed copper sheets to hold magazines which are held in place by a triangular chrome "spring". This piece in in good all original condition and displays beautifully.
