About the Item

There is a GORGEOUS BRONZE FIGURINE presented: It is The Pied Piper of Hamelin* playing the pipe. The figurine's impression is very fine - it is looking like very lifelike ! The man's figurine is clad in medieval garments (hood, shirt, close-fitting pants), attached to a rock in which some tiny figurines are visible. The bronze item stands on round reddish marble base. The figurine's face and hands are made of BONE. * The Pied Piper of Hamelin (German: Rattenfänger von Hameln, also known as the Pan Piper, the Rat-Catcher of Hamelin) is the subject of a legend concerning the disappearance or death of a great number of children from the town of Hamelin (Hameln), Lower Saxony, Germany, in the Middle Ages. The earliest references describe a piper, dressed in multicolored ("pied") clothing, leading the children away from the town never to return. [ Wikipedia ] Finest quality of bronze modelling !
