French Grape Harvesting Bucket, circa 1900

About the Item

From the vineyards of France, a charming wooden staved bucket with iron handles and rings. This was used to gather grapes. The iron handles would be hooked onto wheeled carts. Stenciled letters "C H A D L" on one side, the number "6" stenciled on other side. Lovely painted patina.
