Very beautiful terrestrial globe made by J.Forest Paris rue de Buci from the 19th century.
Library globes are the rarest. This one made by J. Forest, a famous publishing house in Paris in the 19th century has a very beautiful base with a turned foot. The Globe is stuck in a cast iron fixing which, by an ingenious mechanism, allows the Globe to be tilted in the direction you want.
The Globe is in French and in good condition. No pocks, some small wear but really minimal and some wear stains.
The Globe stands out by its very beautiful colors and its condition.
