About the Item

Milbradt Manufacturing Company was a St. Louis, Missouri, company known for making "rolling step ladders" that were used in libraries, stores, and warehouses in the late 19th and early 20th century. This sturdy oak pair shows remnants of this manufacturers label and are fully functional. Found in an old store in Augusta, Georgia, this industrial pair feature five rungs with shelf at top and cast iron wheels at top and bottom. Top measures 23 inches wide to roller - bottom measures 29 inches wide including rollers that face out. Great for installation in a kitchen, butler's pantry, library or anywhere that calls for an extension. They also could be used as display racks.
