18th Century Louis XVI Three-Panel Arched Screens
Located in Middleburg, VA
18th Century Louis XVI Three-Panel Arched Screens with Painted Floral and Architectural Motifs. An exquisite and rare set of three panel screens from the Louis XVI period, crafted in the South of France circa 1790. Each arched panel is meticulously hand-painted with neoclassical decorative motifs emblematic of the Louis XVI aesthetic, featuring garlands, musical and artistic trophies, scrolling foliage, and urns filled with delicate florals.
