About the Item

Panel fire screen iron forged with wild and jumgle animals When faced with a piece like this, one sometimes does not know what to say, it is even difficult to define it, in my case I like it so much that I would say that I cannot stop looking at it I don't know who made it, I don't know how old it is, but there are many. I don't know if it was created in Spain or if it came from some remote place. But I do know that whoever made this fireplace screensaver was a great teacher It is very difficult for me to see the material from which the figures are made, since they have gold leaf on top and a deep patina from the passage of time. I can not see it, although from behind you can guess the color of brass or bronze Analyzing better, I think the branches are made of wrought iron and the three parrots are made of thick embossed brass plate. It is a embossed ((or rather cast) brass or bronze with great mastery, not only in execution, but also in the balance of the design of the figures and the scene in general. For all this, I suppose it will be the work of a great master craftsman, almost certainly a unique work. I will never know who made it, but it has all my admiration It is so beautiful that it is a work of art in itself. I don't know where it will end, if in Manhattan, London or in a small German town, I just know that you put it next to where they put it, regardless of the decorative style that surrounds it, it is impossible to lose sight of this piece, your fireplace will look impressive The design is beautiful, it is an exotic scene with three parrots on branches and silver embossed in brass and gilded with gold leaf. The exotic fireplace set is embedded in a rectangular piece of iron and covered behind with a grid to protect from the fireplace fire. This rectangular piece is in turn embedded in a larger one, joined together by balls. The whole is supported by two wrought iron legs.
