About the Item
A hand painted Chinese Export Asian style four-panel folding screen room divider, artisan unknown. Solid wood with Coromandel black lacquer, front and reverse sides both having hand painted Chinoiserie scenes that blend across the four panels. The four panels are joined with brass hinges to form the hinged folding screen. Decorative brass adorns the two feet of each panel. Crafted in China, in the mid 20th Century.

Very good vintage condition with signs of normal previous use. Some tarnish to brass feet. Structurally sound and sturdy. Condition Rating: 8.5 / 10.0
