Rare pair of bookends with cast aluminum seal of Cranbrook School - Aim High logo and the year 1955 mounted to the oak boards. The Aim High logo was designed by Eero Saarinen, son of Eliel Saarinen who designed the schools campus and was president from 1932 - 1946. "In 1927, 'Aim High' was adopted as the motto of Cranbrook School. Along with the motto, a seal was created. This seal, designed by Eero Saarinen, displays an archer, Acestes, aiming his arrow high up into the sky.
