About the Item
If a space-age honeycomb and a brutalist dream had a baby, it’d be this sculptural stunner.

This sculptural screen is part of the legendary “Sculpta-Grille” series by architect Richard Harvey, who brought space-age swagger to Mid Century architecture with his futuristic resin forms. Originally conceived for use in commercial spaces like banks, casinos, and mod lounges, these panels were designed to divide space and steal the show. Today, surviving examples are rare—and coveted by collectors, designers, and editors alike.
This particular beauty is the cleanest one we've come across: the resin is bright and crisp, and the walnut base is rich, warm, and glowing with just the right amount of vintage character. It’s photographed here in our gallery alongside a Marta Blomstedt style scalloped back chair. We currently have this paired with a Paul Evans credednza, Milo Baughman sofa, and Hans Wegner Papa bear chair and not only does this piece hold its own-- it steals the show and makes a bold mid century modern statement!
Use it as a room divider, sculpture, or gallery wall anchor. It’s not just décor—it’s a conversation-stopping design artifact.
And bonus: we also have a second screen available, with more patina and a softer, creamier buttery ivory tone. Display one solo for impact, or double up for a modular moment worthy of a museum.
Richard Harvey’s Sculpta-Grille screens are iconic Mid Century Modern room dividers crafted from durable resin and mounted on walnut bases. Designed in the 1960s, these sculptural pieces are sought after for their unique blend of form and function, making them perfect companions to furnishings by designers like Paul Evans, Milo Baughman, and Hans Wegner. Ideal for collectors and interior designers aiming to infuse spaces with vintage charm and architectural interest,

Percival Lafer Folding Rosewood Coffee Table, 1970s
By Percival Lafer
Located in Culver City, CA
This coffee table is fabulous! Designed by Percival Lafer a Brazilian furniture designer known for his innovative and modern designs. One of his most iconic creations is the Percival Lafer folding table, which was first introduced in the 1970s. Coming in a number of sizes, this is the large coffee table.
The Percival Lafer folding tables are versatile functional pieces of furniture that can be used in a variety of settings. It is designed to be lightweight and easy to move, with a simple folding mechanism that allows it to be set up or stored away quickly and easily.
The table features a sleek and minimalist design, with a rosewood parquette type design that featured different pieces of rosewood arranged at different heights, creating an uneven, heavily textured, almost brutalist look-- topped with glass. This eye catching design is one of his most iconic designs.
A wonderful piece that can be easily folded and stored away if necessary. This table would look incredible in any mid century modern, Brazilian modern, or contemporary home. Place both tables together to have a larger functional coffee table. We currently have this table in the gallery alongside a Sergio Rodrigues sofa as well as a Jorge Zalszupin mesa...
