Found in Italy, this 19th Century Italian Four Panel Folding Screen was hand painted by artisans in the 1800's depicting a neoclassical style. The piece features four folding arched panels surrounded by ornate aged gilt frames. Each painted panel showcases mythical scenes of figures and architecture in bold colors. The painted finish has an aged distressed patina with fine craquelure which only adds to the charm of this antique piece. There have been repairs at some point in its lifietime which would be typical for a piece of this age.
