19th C. Large American All Leather Steamship Trunk with Dated Export Travel Tags

About the Item

Rare all leather late Victorian Steamship Trunk in very good original intact condition. Unrestored with authentic patina and oozing charm and history down to export tags showing origin as Massachusetts and Destination as Victoria, BC. This is one conversation chest that can double up as a coffee table due to it's large size or be used in a study, office or at the foot of the bed as a one of a kind talking piece of historical significance while still allowing practical usage. Looks beautiful from any angle and exudes old world charm. A piece of American history!
