Extra Large Antique Renaissance Revival Quality Carved Tiger Oak Wall Coat Rack

About the Item

Beautiful XXL size, handcarved wall coat rack with an angel sculpture and more. This latest amazing find dates from the earliest years of the 1900s and if its size does not make it impressive then its condition certainly will. This remarkable, almost 7 feet wide antique is one of the largest wall coat racks we ever had the pleasure of offering. Besides super wide (or long) it also is over an inch thick on all sides and on top of that it is entirely hand-crafted out of solid tiger oak. More Renaissance Style motifs like the scrolling accanthus leafs and the bird sculptures next to the horns of plenty make it even more attractive and meaningful. The combination of the finely carved motifs, the rare design, the wonderful and warm patina of the tiger oak and the beautifully shaped and original oak hooks will instantly change the look and feel of your entrance. They just don't make 'em like this no more. Thanks to the strong metal hooks on the back, safely and securely mounting this antique on your wall can be done in just a few minutes. With as many as nine perfect condition, timeless, practical and mint condition oakwood hooks there is plenty of room for your coats, shawls etc. and you can also place hats, trophies or other decorative items on the top shelf. In short: this unique antique is great value for money. Also, because perfect packing and worldwide delivery from our store to your door in just 4 to 6 days are complimentary. Measures: Maximum width x height x depth: 82 x 10.2 x 9.25 inches. We have a passion for the unique, for quality, for stylish yet practical and for craftsmanship of years gone by. Your purchases will be extremely well packaged and we look forward to serving you (again).

  • Small Early 1900s Renaissance Revival Wall Coat Rack with Carved Mask Sculptures

Antique oak wall coat rack with incredibly well carved head sculptures. This marvelous antique Dutch coat rack is special, practical and highly decorative. It is special, because of the quality of the unique carvings and its excellent condition. It is very practical, because of its small size, its strong brass metal hooks and the ease with which it can be mounted on your wall (via a pair of strong metal hooks on the back). It is highly decorative, because of the wonderfully hand carved details in the Renaissance Style including the three head sculptures. Especially these Renaissance heads with their characteristic hairdo, hats and colars are carved with marvelous detail. This can only be the work of a master carver and the beautiful patina on this antique work of beauty also is second to none. The handcrafted, brass, Gothic design coat hooks...
