About the Item

Beautifully sculpted and expertly cast and patinated by the famed Gorham Company in 1930, this large panel was awarded to the winner of the Commercial Vehicle Inter-Fleet Contest in Massachusetts. Probably sculpted by William Codman, who was the director of design at Gorham for many years, the panel features an elegant female with classical robes, and a 1930-vintage panel truck.
