19th C. Italian Ecclesiastical Pillow

This striking pillow is a refined fusion of historical reverence and luxurious modern design. At its heart lies a 19th century ecclesiastical textile featuring intricate gold metallic embroidery with scrolling foliage and a central medallion monogrammed with “IHS”—a Christogram symbolizing Jesus Christ. The embroidery is meticulously worked onto a creamy silk ground, with ornate gilt borders adding architectural structure and solemn beauty.
