Pair of Early 20th Century French Pillows with Bead Decor
About the Item
This elegant pair of vintage decorative pillows showcases exquisite craftsmanship and refined materials. Crafted in France circa 1920, each square cushion features a central mustard-gold velvet panel framed by borders, intricately embroidered with decorative glass beads and metallic thread, forming symmetrical diamond-like designs in soft tones of burgundy, gold, and taupe.The pillows are trimmed with a pleated velvet ruffle that complements the overall palette. The reverse side is finished in a matching fabric and secured with four fabric-covered buttons, each detailed with bead decor. These pillows are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, with a wonderful warm inviting color palette. A beautiful addition to a formal living room, antique sofa, or period armchair, they bring a touch of vintage luxury and texture to any classic interior.
