A fabulous of vintage midcentury umbrella stand or paper basket, in the style of Hollywood Regency, made by Li Puma Italy, circa 1950-1960. It is made of perforated gilt metal with rope and knotted tassel detail which give this piece an exclusive look. The beautiful umbrella stand which is 47 cm / 18.50 inches tall and 22 cm / 8.66 inches wide, stays in a very good original vintage condition with minor characteristic wear consistent with age and use. The way it is manufactured would perfectly match to the famous palm tree light sculptures by Hans Kögl.
