About the Item

Ciajli is a village in the south-east of the Caucasus region of Mogan: Among the Caucasian rugs, the Ciajli Stand out for their loyalty to tradition and the purity of their design. Characteristic the indigo-colored background from which emerge the characteristic three octagons that almost fill the entire surface. Their background color is alternately red and blue. The decoration somehow recalls the carpets decorated with Afghan gul. The interior design is decorated with elements common to carpets of the same area. The wool is soft and shiny, the hair relatively high.
