Antique Caucasian Kazak Long Rug with Repeat Medallion Design, circa 1900
About the Item
The rug has five latch hook medallions on a indigo blue ground. The field contains a number of large birds and other devices. The borders are an attractive feature with the main border being in a soft yellow. The runner is dated twice at the top end.
Superb condition with slight even wear and good pile. Hand washed and ready for use or display.
