An antique Khotan oriental carpet, size 12'8 x 6'10, circa 1890. This handsome antique decorative rug features a stylized repeating design on a light blue background, with different shades of light blue from one end to another. This color variation, known as abrash, adds intrigue and character to the rug, and is prized by many collectors of handwoven antique carpets. Short wool pile. Good condition, with some areas of wear and restoration. An excellent choice to add color and style to your living area, a dining room, or a hallway.
