About the Item

Kazak carpets originated in the Caucasus region and were made mainly by nomadic and semi-nomadic peoples. Traditional Kazak rugs generally date back to the 19th century; these rugs reflect the aesthetics of Caucasian tribes, with patterns inspired by nature, geometry and local traditions. known for their bright and bold colors, obtained from natural dyes. Deep blue, vivid red, gold and green accents predominate in this carpet, creating a dynamic contrast. The blue background is often a symbol of protection, while red represents strength and vitality. The large central geometric medallion is surrounded by symmetrical figures that may represent symbols of protection, power or spirituality. Hand knotted wool
