A wonderful early 20th century Central Asian pictorial Khotan rug with multiple large-scale Chinese vases potted with auspicious cherry blossoms, pomegranate branches, and lotus, woven in an unusual palette of sherbet colored vegetable dyed wool. The border is fantastic with a wide band with large-scale flowers flanked by several geometric patterned borders.
