Antique Malayer Runner with Camel-Tone Field
About the Item
The camel-tone field shows a central column of twelve adjoined “Memling guls” enclosing stepped lozenges in red, rust, teal and beige, with half en suite lozenges along the sides. Narrow main border is in the Turkmen style with rams’ horn cartouches. Cotton foundation and medium/moderate weave. Good condition.
