Antique Malayer Village Rug with Camel Field and Rosette Design
About the Item
The distinctively abrashed camel-straw field show three columns of paired, downcast, partially serrated leaves; each pair nearly clutching a rosette. In pale blue, teal, goldenrod and rust. Dark blue strip style main border with rosettes and a trapezoidal serrated leaf meander. An effective design wise village rug. On cotton, moderate weave.
