Antique Malayer Runner with Rust and Coral Colors, Circa 1920's
About the Item
The rust/red/coral panel-abrashed field of this unusual kenare (runner) field nine parallel vertical rod-like pole with rosettes and sharp, small lozenges as decorations. The three narrow borders all show identical runs of reversing fan palmettes, the middle stripe being golden mustard. Moderate/medium weave on cotton. Good condition.
