Mesmerizing Vintage Meziti Runner
3' 3" x 9'
Gorgeous tribal rug comprised entirely of Persian wool raised, sheared, dyed, spun, and woven by the obscure Persian nomads The Mezitis. Labeled as a Qashqai due to their shared heritage, Mezitis were a nomadic tribe that's generally found in the deserts Southwest of Shiraz. Unfortunately the tribe has since faded to memory, but their treasures have been left behind for generations to discover and enjoy.
Featuring a rich navy base tone which highlight its beautiful rusty reds and oranges. It's bold colors draw your eye to its intricate and joyful motifs. Truly an incredible piece rich in heritage and design. These tribal styles go with any decor old and new. Bring some color and joy into your home with this beautiful piece of Persian culture.
This piece, like the rest of our collection, was hand-picked by Persian Rug expert and Shiraz native, Jason Dadras. Each piece was acquired through the relationships he forged around the world. Our rugs are ethically sourced and have been legally imported.
