Hand-knotted in wool, circa 1920-1930, this 11x14 antique Oushak rug from Turkey is an exemplary piece from one of R&K Principal Jahanshah Nazmiyal’s favorite weaving traditions, known for their regal, yet whimsical, more feminine designs. On the Design: Connoisseurs will admire this masterpiece as a one-of-a-kind rug found in this family today, unique and collectible for its grand size, and regal, whimsical and feminine design. The field design in beige features intricate floral patterns in many vibrant accents including a most notable green and blue, with especially present rust tone accents, in the field and the border alike.
