Classic Antique Oushak with Dark Slate Field
About the Item
The dark slate field shows two columns of double, rough lazy palmettes, all connected by slanting, stiff vine segments. Wide strip style teal main border of palmettes. Plain dark outermost surround. Classic workshop carpet with a coarse weave, in a Persianate manner, ever popular with decorators. Good condition. Wool foundation.
