4x6.8 ft French Aubusson Inspired Vintage Handmade Turkish Wool Area Rug
About the Item
Vintage Turkish area rug with a French-Aubusson inspired romantic design of a central floral cartouche in pink and emerald green and corner pieces decorated with large pink roses against a dark indigo field with all-over honeycomb motifs that also fill the borders in pink and beige. Measures: 4 x 6.8 ft.
Hand-knotted in Turkey in the 1960s, the rug has low wool pile on cotton foundation. It is in good condition with no issues, professionally cleaned, sturdy and suitable for areas with high foot traffic in both residential and commercial interiors.
