About the Item
Rare collection of "VAGHIREH": samples of carpets.
The nomadic weaver did'nt have a drawing on paper millimeter as in the important workshops, but he used a small carpet as a sample with various drawings handed down by his ancestors. It's very rare for him to separate from it, that he passes on to his children. There are also the "vaghireh" of more important carpets, that the weaver shows the customer to choose the design.
Each carpet has its own history and tradition, its pattern and its colors.
You can see that the price FOR ALL is very good: it's for a collector like me who loves the carpets !!
