52586, vintage Turkish Oushak rug with Artisan Belgian style and soft colors. This hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug features three oversized hooked diamond-shaped medallions spread across an abrashed gray field. The medallions are surrounded by a scattering of large florets and hexagonal motifs, as well as four small animal motifs in each of the corners. Flanked by simple barber’s pole guard bands, the large main border features stylized crab motifs that expertly mimic the hooked designs from the field. The lovely color scheme centered on soft shades of gray and terra cotta give the piece an elegant and relaxed feel. This attractive vintage Turkish Oushak rug would be a delightful addition to any space, while its small size and limited color palette make it highly versatile.
