73698 Garden View Tapestry, Inspired by Jacob Wauters, Flemish Tapestry of a Pergola, Verdure Wall Hanging 05'03 x 05'07. Drawing inspiration from Jacob Wauters, the Manufacture of Antwerp, and Galleries and Garden Views, this garden tapestry embodies true Flemish Renaissance style. An ornate vase (flower pot) overflowing with large florals sits upon a large stone plinth. Four Corinthian columns Stand at each corner of the stone plinth supporting a lush botanical arbor composed of garlands, leafy tendrils, grape vines, stems, and flowers. The background features a beautifully manicured garden. The tapestry is framed with two Corinthian columns ornately carved with cupid on the vertical sides and a wide frieze displaying cornucopias with a centre cartouche landscape adorned with a cherub motif. With its commitment to tradition and heart full of whimsy, this Renaissance wall hanging can enliven nearly any opulent period-interior with color and vitality.
