About the Item

The daughter of Jules Leleu, Paule joined the family company at a young age. Over time she became the firm's colorist and the head of the design studio, where she oversaw the textile department and designed more than 500 maguettes for carpets, fabrics, and wallpapers. This extraordinary design, hand-woven in wool on a large-scale, features an elegant, rectangular form, a deep, rich color, and a marvellous, geometric trim.
