18th Century Black Italian Pair of Antique Giltwood Armchairs, Fauteuils
About the Item
Late 18th Century, an antique pair of Italian gilded fauteuils with ornate armrests, the back rests are adorned with centered medallions, enhanced by detailed wood carvings, in good condition. The dining armchairs represent the Louis XVI period. The chairs have been newly upholstered in a black fabric. Minor fading, due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1780, Naples, Italy.
