19th Century Black Baltic Pair of Lacquered Birch Armchairs, Antique Side Chairs
About the Item
A 19th Century, antique Baltic pair of black armchairs made of hand crafted lacquered Birchwood, in good condition. The small detailed side, club chairs have a rounded back with slim armrests, particularized by gilded goat heads, standing on four curved wooden legs. Restored, refurbished and hand polished. Newly upholstered in a white fabric. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1820 - 1840, Baltic States.
