About the Item

An English Chippendale style library chair with the seat and inside back upholstered in gros and petite point needlework in an oriental theme. The chair back is slightly camel shaped; the outside back of the chair is upholstered in an oyster colored velvet. The wooden chair frame is a dark stained mahogany with acanthus leaf carving on the arms, straight front legs, swept back legs with a stretcher between front and back, and partially swept upholstered arms.
