Blue lacquered version of the Spirale Chair by french designer Louis Durot. Signed. Made by hand by the artist. Louis Durot is a French designer, born in 1939. Former assistant to Cesar Louis Durot developed in the late 60’s a singular universe, using his skills as a chemical engeneer to create design pieces in polyurethane. The Spirale Chair is made by hand, the first piece was made in 1968. The Spirale Chair falls under the influence of 1960’s Radical Design while reminding a pop aesthetic.
