Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this once in a lifetime opportunity to own this very rare original Howard & Son's Ivor Berners street armchair in the original distressed ticking fabric circa 1880-1890 Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote, please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price. Never again will you be able to buy this exact original armchair, it has the original period ticking fabric which is 130-140 years old, the inside back left leg is fully stamped Howard & Son’s LTD Berners Street and with the serial number, all castors are original and fully stamped Howard & Sons London. All the original horse hair padding is present, this is a super desirable piece For those of you that are unaware of Howard & Son's chairs our late Queen had I think the largest private collection in the world, they are the finest hand made in England and most famous chairs in the world, highly collectable and extremely valuable, the more beaten up and original the better This chair has a walnut frame, the fabric to the arms and backrest is the above mentioned ticking, the rest is later, the cushion is the original and it recesses under the back rest which was something Howard invented, the idea being you never fully sit on the back of the seat cushion so it doesn't sag as much Dimensions Height:- 85.5cm Width:- 80cm Depth: 107cm Seat height:- 38cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements, please ask.
