Arts & Crafts rare pair of ladder back oak armchairs With rush seats By Sir Edwin Landseer Lutyens Circa 1902 Height 98cm Width 61cm Depth 50cm "Sir Edwin Lutyens was a designer and architect and this chair was designed in 1902 for Edward Hudson, the Editor of Country Life magazine and was made in High Wycombe. Lutyens also designed a house for Hudson, Deanery Garden in Berkshire and he used the same chair design for Little Thakeham in W Sussex."
